Chester Foundation at the Doggy Dash

Chester Foundation at the Doggy Dash

On June 6th, dogs of all shapes and sizes, along with their human companions, attended the annual fundraising event for the Sacramento SPCA.

Held in Sacramento’s Land Park, the Doggy Dash is a celebration of people and their dogs coming together to have some fun and raise funds for the good works of the Sacramento SPCA.  Learn more about the Doggy Dash on their website.

The Chester Foundation hosted one of many information booths.  Thanks to Board Member Lynn Madison and Volunteer Becky Money, visitors to the Chester table learned about the Foundation’s support for disadvantaged animal companions in need of emergency medical care.

This was certainly a day for dog lovers and the Chester Foundation salutes the SPCA, and all who volunteer and serve in some way to support better lives for canines.

Below you can enjoy some photos taken by Board Members Lynn Madison and Betsy Mahan at the Doggy Dash.  If you would like to volunteer at the Chester Information Table at future events, please send us an email and let us know!  Visit our Donate page to support the Chester Foundation.
