Help Fonzie and Bandit

Fonzie and Bandit rescued from a home fire need help with medical costs!

At 3:00pm on January 9th, 2014 – Sacramento Metro Fire Department transported Fonzie to Atlantic Street Veterinary Hospital Pet Emergency Center, Roseville CA.  Fonzie was a victim trapped inside a buring home.  Response team discovered Fonzie unresponsive as a result of smoke inhalation.  He was tranported with oxygen mask and show mild improvement by time he arrived at the hospital.

His housemate, Bandit initially appeared to have faired the effects of the fire but by 6:00pm began also demonstrating signs of smoke inhalation and is now hospitalized as well.

Both dogs are currently receiving intensive medical care.  It is anticipated that the dogs will require at least a couple of days hospitalization.  Costs will likely exceed $5,000 to treated the dogs and the family has no funds available to pay for medical care.
